When you reach out to LC Window Treatments, we schedule a complimentary design consultation. This is when we meet at your home, review the space, and talk through what you're trying to accomplish.
During this consultation, we're not selling you anything. We're learning:
About your space: What are the room dimensions, natural light, architectural features, and existing decor? Do you have high ceilings, large windows, skylights, or hard-to-reach areas? What's the light direction (east-facing, west-facing, south-facing)? This matters because it changes how we recommend light control.

Step 2: Design Recommendations and Fabric Selection
Based on the consultation, we create initial recommendations.
This might include:
Which window treatment styles make sense for each window

Hardware options and control systems (manual, motorized, smart home integration)
Rough cost ranges so there are no surprises
We'll typically bring fabric samples to your home so you can see how materials look in your actual light. This is important. A fabric that looks perfect under store lighting can look completely different under your north-facing window or in the afternoon sun.

Step 3: Measurements and Fabrication Planning
Once you've selected treatments and fabrics, we take precise measurements.
Measuring isn't just writing down numbers. We're noting:
Exact window dimensions
Depth of window recesses
Existing hardware and whether it can be reused
Wall and trim conditions
Light switches, outlets, or architectural elements that affect installation
Whether any windows are exceptionally large or unusually shaped

Step 4: Fabrication and Quality Control
